Cobourg Police – Fail To Remain at the Scene of Collision

On the evening of Sunday, December 13, at 7:05 pm, Cobourg Police Service uniform members responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision in Cobourg’s downtown core.

Witnesses reported a black truck striking several metal posts on King Street near the Henley Arcade walkway. The driver was observed operating the vehicle, which stopped and then left the area headed westbound on King Street.

The vehicle involved is described as a black pickup truck, possibly a Dodge Ram. The vehicle will have significant damage to the front end.

No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cobourg Police Service at 905-372-6821.
