Countdown To Christmas Magic – Not too Late To Enter Float Submissions

In Community, Local

Christmas Magic is getting closer and town staff are working hard in preparation.

This year more than ever people seem to be looking forward to Christmas Magic.

The office for Community Events Coordinator Jackie Chapman-Davis seems to be the Centennial Pool by Victoria Park.

Volunteers and town staff are doing their best to put the lights up so the community can enjoy nearly 180,000 Christmas lights.

A few Grinch squirrels seem to be trying to take a bite out of the fun by chewing a number of light strands, but workers are trying to solve the problem to bring the magic to Cobourg that people so desperately need in 2020.

Chapman-Davis said there is still time for families/organizations or businesses to submit their ideas for the three floats that will be on display.

Each of the three floats will be given $1,000 to decorate their float at one of three locations in Cobourg.

To submit entries or for more information contact Jackie Chapman-Davis at jchapmandavis@cobourg.ca
