Update – Port Hope Police – Robbery

A robbery at a local convenience store led to the arrest of David Morris, age 58 of Cobourg Ontario.

On Thursday night, October 29, 2020, Morris attended the local store and asked to have his cell phone charged only to return later intoxicated and using a cane as a weapon demanded money from the victim’s.

The accused was also charged with breach of a court order.

Morris will appear in court to answer to the charges in December. The victims were not physically injured.
