Read Away Your Fines at the Cobourg Public Library This October

In Community, Upcoming Events

Do you have fines on your Cobourg Public Library membership? Are you age 21 or younger? Then you can reduce your fines just by reading a book/e-book, or listening to an audiobook/e-audiobook!

For every hour you read, you will “earn” $5.00 off of the fines you owe the Library! Only accounts with fines owing will be credited. You have to read away the fines on your own account, your reading cannot be applied to other cardholders and no cash will be awarded otherwise. You can only read towards existing fines; you cannot read to reduce future fines.

Patrons can sign up by heading to https://cobourg.beanstack.org/reader365 where they can track their progress.

“This is just one way that our Library is giving back to the community in celebration of Canadian Library Month this October says Tammy Robinson, CEO.
