Fellowship Day at Port Hope Golf and Country Club Raises Money for Disadvantaged Families

A fellowship day was held at the Port Hope Golf and  Country Club for a good cause on Friday, October 2, 2020.

Matt Mayfield and Gil Carlson organized the event for the men’s league that takes place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s.

Forty-eight men took part in the event that encompassed 20 holes.

Throughout the day of golf, it was typical October weather with sun, and a downpour.

Approximately $3,000 was raised for disadvantaged families to help get children into sporting activities with the help of the Port Hope Police Association.
