Trailer Cab Goes Up In Flames In Hamilton Township

A transport cab went up in flames on Friday, August 7, 2020 in Hamilton Township.

Shortly after 5 p.m. Hamilton Township Fire Department were dispatched to Oak Ridges Drive approximately two kilometres west of Harwood Road.

The driver of a transport heading westbound on Oak Ridges Drive noticed smoke in the cab and pulled to the side of the road.

Shortly after the cab was engulfed in flames.

Hamilton Township Fire Department arrived on scene and extinguished the fire.

It’s believed the fire started in the sleeper portion of the cab.

The 1989 cab was destroyed in the fire, but none of the product in the trailers were damaged.
