Newborn Infants Rushed to Hospital Following Major Collision in Hamilton Township

In Local

Emergency services responded to a multi-vehicle collision in Hamilton Township on June 16, 2020.

Shortly before 4:30 p.m. three vehicles collided on a hill on Dale Road west of Dale Road Public School.

One witness said he swerved into the ditch to avoid a vehicle headed directly at him in the wrong lane.

The vehicle struck a pick-up which in turn collided with another vehicle.

A mother and her two infants that were only days old were taken to hospital.

The scene was held until it was confirmed all three had minor injuries.

Dale Road in the area of the collision was shut down for approximately two hours.

Officials credit car seats, seat belts and air bags for preventing more serious injuries.
