Woman Struck by Car in Port Hope

One woman was taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Port Hope on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.

Shortly after 10 a.m. emergency services reponded to the intersection of Mill Street and Peter Street after a woman was struck by a vehicle.

The woman was crossing Peter Street when a southbound vehicle on Mill Street turned left onto Peter Street and struck the woman.

The woman was taken to hospital where she was treated and released.

The driver of the vehicle wasn’t injured.

Port Hope Police say the investigation is continuing.
