Motorcyclist Rushed To Hospital After Collision in Parking Lot in Cobourg

A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital with unknown injuries after a collision in the Canadian Tire parking lot in Cobourg on Thursday, May 21, 2020.

At approximately 7:30 p.m. emergency services were dispatched to the parking lot in the area of Rogers Road and Elgin Street West for a collision involving a motorcycle and vehicle.

It appears the motorcycle was travelling eastbound in the parking lot and a vehicle heading west in the parking lot turned to park when the collision happened.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the vehicle wasn’t injured.

Police advise there are no charges as the collision occurred on private property.
