Cobourg Provides Portable Washrooms for Citizens During COVID-19 Pandemic

In City Hall

The portable washrooms are located on the east side of Third Street by the Market Building.

The Town of Cobourg would like to inform citizens that two public washrooms are now available for use as citizens continue to practice social distancing in an effort to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

The portable washrooms, including an accessible unit, are yellow and blue in colour and located on the east side of Third Street within the west doors of the Market Building, easily accessed from both King Street and Albert Street.

A mobile wash station will be set up and moved inside the Market Building to prevent freezing each night.

Each portable washroom will be cleaned daily as per health unit standards.
The Emergency Control Group (ECG) will be monitoring this site daily to ensure the public has access and it is meeting the need of our citizens especially in the downtown core.

The ECG may implement additional portable washrooms if they are required.
