Cobourg Fire Department Practicing Ice Water Rescue Training At Cobourg Harbour

Approximately 24 members of the Cobourg Fire Department spent Saturday, February 29, 2020 practicing their ice water rescue training at the Cobourg Harbour.

Wearing ice water immersion suits firefghters played the role of victim and rescuer during the days training.

From throwing a safety line to a person in distress, to trying to navigate through the breaking ice, it was all in a days work for the firefighters in case they ever need to put their skills to use in a water rescue.
