Snow Squalls Make Traveling Difficult for Drivers

In Local

Tow operators in the area were once again kept busy on Friday, February 28, 2020 after snow squalls made traveling difficult on area roads.

On Hamilton Road just east of Port Hope two vehicles traveling southbound went into the ditch.

A vehicle and a courier truck had to be winched out of the ditch by tow operators.

At times, it was near white-out conditions along Hamilton Road in Hamilton Township because of the wind and snow.

The roadway was closed for over an hour while tow operators removed the vehicles.
