Update – Cobourg Police – Location of Robbery and Assault

As a result of an inquiry by Today’s Northumberland, Cobourg Police has released the location of the robbery that occurred on Saturday, February 1 2020 in Cobourg.

The assault and robbery occurred near Legion Fields in the Town of Cobourg.

The female victim was walking in Legion Fields when an unknown offender approached her and attempted to rob her. The unknown offender was holding onto what was described to be a sharp object. The unknown offender ensued a struggle with the female victim. The female victim was able to get away, suffering cuts on both her arms due to the struggle.
