Northumberland OPP – Impaired Charges After Collision in Trent Hills

On Wednesday January 8, 2020 at approximately 11:30 pm, members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call regarding a motor vehicle collision on Portage St in Campbellford.

Police attended and located the vehicle and driver. After an investigation, it was determined that the driver was impaired by alcohol. As a result, the driver was arrested and charged with the following offences:

Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

Failure or refusal to comply with demand

The accused Sean CARR (age 28) of Trent Hills was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on February 2, 2020.
