Breaking News – Port Hope Police Investigate Death

Port Hope Police are conducting a death investigation after emergency services attended a Ridout Street residence on Monday, September 23, 2019.

At approximately 2:35 p.m. emergency services responded to the location and located a person who was deceased.

Numerous people contacted Today’s Northumberland about the police presence in the area.

Port Hope Police Sgt. John Oosterhof said, “at this time investigators have cleared the scene and police are working with the coroners office to determine a cause of death.”
