Cobourg Police – Two People Arrested For Theft

Woman Arrest for Theft
At approximately 09:10 am on August 21, police responded to residential address in the downtown core after receiving a report of a theft from a motor vehicle.
As a result of subsequent police investigation 30-year-old Sandra Stuber of Cobourg was arrested and charged with:
. Theft under $5000.00 x2 contrary to Section 355(b) of the Criminal Code
. Possession of Property obtained by Crime x2 contrary to section 355(b) of the Criminal Code
. Unauthorized use of Credit Card Data x2 contrary to section 342(3) of the Criminal Code
Stuber was released from police custody scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in September 2019.

On August 21, 2019, at approximately 12:45 pm, police responded to a business in the downtown core once receiving a complaint of an after the fact theft.
As a result of subsequent police investigation 33-year-old Kory Trenouth of Cobourg was arrested and charged with:
. Theft under $5000.00 contrary to Section 355(b) of the Criminal Code
. Possession of Property obtained by Crime contrary to section 355(b) the Criminal Code
Trenouth was released from police custody scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in September 2019
