A Number of Rear-End Collisions In The Cobourg Area

A number of rear-end collisions took place in the Cobourg area within the span of an hour on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.

Shortly after 2 p.m. a car rear-ended a SUV on County Road 45 just north of Cobourg in Hamilton Township.

Emergency services attended the scene and the driver of the car was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Around the same time, emergency services in Cobourg were dispatched to Rogers Road and Elgin Street after a car rear-ended a pickup truck.

There were no injuries in that collision.

Previously Cobourg Police also dealt with a rear-end collision in downtown Cobourg. No injuries were involved.
