Trinity College School Students Help Out The Northumberland Humane Society

In Community

Students from Trinity College School are helping to make a difference in the community.
A volunteer group called TRAP (Trinity Rescue Animal Program) was created in September 2018 and now consists of 21 students all with a common goal of helping animals.
The group does a variety of tasks both at the Northumberland Humane Society and in the community. TRAP students volunteer at NHS to help socialize the animals, assist with dog bath days and various other NHS fundraising events.
Recently, the TRAP group, with support from their entire school, organized a dodge ball tournament with all proceeds going to the animals at Northumberland Humane Society. Six houses participated in the fundraiser with each house collecting monetary donations from fellow students and friends. Over $1250 was raised from the tournament and presented to General Manager of the Northumberland Humane Society Kate Lennan.
