Northumberland OPP – Drug Warrant Results in Three Arrests

Beginning in January of this year members of the Northumberland Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into a drug trafficking investigation.

On February 6, 2019 the Northumberland CSCU with the assistance of front line members of the Northumberland OPP, executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act warrant at a Colborne residence located in Cramahe Township.

Investigators seized digital scales, three ounces of cocaine, and a quantity of cash. The street value of the seized cocaine is worth approximately $9,000.

Shawn Michael STEVENSON (age 27) of Cramahe Township was arrested and charged with;
· Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine

Corey BRANDWOOD (age 45) of Cramahe Township was arrested and charged with:
· Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine.

Philip Jaden GREGORY (age 18) of Scarborough, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
· Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
· Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Shawn STEVENSON and Corey BRANDWOOD were released and are scheduled to appear in Court in Cobourg on February 20, 2019.

Philip Jaden GREGORY was held in custody for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on February 7, 2019.
