Last Minute Shoppers Get Some Help In Port Hope

In Community, Local

It was a special day for people doing last minute shopping in Port Hope on Saturday, December 22, 2018.
Owner of Queenies Bake Shop, Adam Pearson was on the street dressed for Christmas giving away presents to children throughout the day.
Some residents were aware of the event while others were taken by surprise and couldn’t believe it.
Dave Stubbs and his two-year-old son Brody were shopping and going on a wagon ride when Brody was given a brand new pair of skates.
“It’s amazing,” said Dave.
“We see him do so many charities. This is exactly why we moved from Oshawa to a small town.”
Pearson said seeing the joy on the faces of the children as they unwrap the presents is something he looks forward to every year.
