Sarah Honey to Seek Conservative Nomination in Northumberland—Peterborough South

COBOURG, ON – Local Northumberland woman, Sarah Honey has declared her intention to be the next Conservative Member of Parliament for Northumberland—Peterborough South.

Sarah Honey is from Northumberland County. She was raised in the village of Warkworth where her family has farmed for four generations. She then moved to Cobourg where she has been actively involved in her community, both through the West high school and Church on the Hill.

Sarah attended Carleton University and stayed in Ottawa to advance the Conservative cause through her extensive work on Parliament Hill.

Sarah worked for Rick Norlock, former MP for Northumberland—Quinte West both in Ottawa and in the constituency for a number of years.

Sarah has been active in many campaigns in Northumberland- Peterborough South and has served for the past five years on the board of directors of the local federal conservative association.

The Conservative Party of Canada has not set a date for the candidate nomination meeting.

The next federal election is scheduled for October 2019.
