Update On Highway 401 Crash Trenton – All Eastbound Lanes Re-opened

Update Collision Highway 401 East Bound in Quinte West

(Quinte West, ON) – Officers with the Napanee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police have reopened Highway 401 east bound from Glen Miller Road to Wallbridge-Loyalist Road which has been closed since shortly after midnight due to a fatal collision involving four tractor trailers.

Roger ESSON a 47 year old male from Trent Mills succumbed to his injuries at scene.

The investigation into the collision is ongoing , no charges have been laid.
