Sending Love From Across Canada – Including Cobourg

In Community, News

After a TSN announcer posted a picture from a friend living in Humboldt, Sask., on his Twitter feed saying, “leaving it out on the porch tonight.  The boys might need it…wherever they are.”

The message has gone viral across Canada and beyond with hockey sticks being left on porches for people to show their support for the community of Humboldt.

In Cobourg, Brenda and Tim Whitehead have been a hockey family for many years put a number of hockey sticks on their front porch illuminated with a lantern and with name of the town and two hearts written on the blade.

A message that is resonating across Canada
