Ghostrider Takes To The Skies In Cobourg

Jason “Ghostrider” Maloney from Toronto was in Cobourg on Monday, April 2, 2018 taking to the skies on his kite hydro plan board in Lake Ontario.

Maloney said numerous times during the day he soared to a height of 10 metres, but his highest jump since getting a piece of technology that straps to his board has been 21.1 metres.

The device also records his time in the air which his longest has been 14.4 seconds.

Another interesting tidbit is it records the accumulated time in the air which Ghostrider has accumulated an astounding, three days and 23 hours in the air with a total height of 531.6 kilometres.

Elaine Pratt who is just learning the sport was also hitting the waters of Lake Ontario.
