Police Looking for Witnesses after Two Public Mischiefs at a School in Oshawa

Police are looking for any information that will assist with identifying the suspect in connection to two separate incidents of public mischief at a school in Oshawa.

On Thursday, March 22, 2018, at approximately 3:30 p.m., members of Central East Division responded to Queen Elizabeth Public School on Simcoe Street North in Oshawa after staff members located some threatening graffiti on the school property. Police searched the school and deemed it safe for students and staff. Police have no suspect information at this time.

Police responded once again to the same school on Tuesday, March 28, 2018 at approximately 3:00 p.m., after students located similar threatening graffiti on school property. Officers with the assistance of K-9 searched the school and once again deemed it safe.

Police are urging any witnesses to come forward and speak to investigators or school staff with any information pertaining to these public mischiefs.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call D/Cst. Grigoriou at ext. 2737 or D/Cst Hartry at ext. 2732 of the Central East Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at 1-888-579-1520.
