Bring On The Summer – Working On Cobourg Beach

In Local, News

The annual work at clearing up the beach from the effects of winter is taking place in Cobourg.
“We are cleaning up the beach from the winter affects and ice buildup,” said Director of Recreation and Culture.
“We will be dredging in the spring and depositing a lot of the sand on the beach to help build it up further to protect against high lake levels like last year.”
Machinery was along the beach on Thursday morning working on the sand and building what looked like a small berm in case lake water levels rise.
