Northumberland Nighthawks Victorious over Peterborough Petes in Bantam AA Action

The Northumberland Nighthawks were victorious over the Peterborough Petes at the Cobourg Community Centre on February 15, 2018.

It was the first playoff game of the second round of OMHA playoffs Bantam AA action after the Nighthawks defeated Whitby in round one.

Nighthawks Tanner Smith scored at 9:51 of the first period with an assist by Oz Paziuk.

During the second period the Petes came back to tie things up at 11:23 with a goal by Sam Giacalone.

Tanner Smith got his second goal of the night clinching the win for the Nighthawks.

The second game of the playoffs is on Sunday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. in Peterborough.
