Port Hope Firefighters Helping Out

In Local, News, Weather

Members of the Port Hope Fire Department helped out their community on Saturday clearing hydrants of snow. With the heavy snowfall over the last several days in some areas it may be hard for firefighters to access in an emergency. In a fire seconds count, so firefighters looked around the community for hydrants that may pose a risk in a emergency.
The adage, “if you can’t see it – they can’t save it” fits perfectly.
Great job by the firefighters helping out their community.
