Video – Car Destroyed by Fire in Cobourg

There were no injuries after a car was destroyed by fire in Cobourg on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

Cobourg Fire Department were dispatched to Ontario Street, just south of Elgin Street for a vehicle on fire shortly after 3 p.m.

When they arrived on scene, flames were coming from the hood of the vehicle.

Firefighters quickly had the fire under control.

There was no cause of the fire and no one was injured.
