Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Theft and Fail to Comply (No Name Released)

A 33-year-old Cobourg man is facing charges after police received a report of theft from a business.

On November 11, 2023, the Cobourg Police Service received a report of a theft from a business in the West end of Cobourg. Investigation revealed that a 33-year-old male entered the store and stole multiple items.

Police identified a suspect by video surveillance footage inside the business.

On November 15, 2023, police on general patrol located the male suspect. The 33-year-old Cobourg man was arrested and charged with theft and fail to comply with an undertaking.

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
