Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged With Assault Against Security Guard at The Warming Hub (No Name Released)

A Cobourg resident is facing charges after police responded to a disturbance in the area of College Street and King Street late Tuesday night.

On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at approximately 10:45 p.m., members of the Cobourg Police Service responded to a report of an altercation between security and an individual at St Peter’s Church.

As a result of the police investigation, a 45-year-old Cobourg man was arrested and charged with assault.

The accused was released from custody on an undertaking with a future court date
