A tour around Castleton and Colborne Aug. 4 and 5 will be truly inspiring, as the annual Cramahe Studio Tour runs both days from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Ten Colborne addresses and two in Castleton are on the self-guided tour, sponsored by the Oak Heights Estate Winery and Restaurant.
The Castleton artists are Barry King and Keith Cornell.
King’s studo is at 12162 Dunbar Rd., where his oil, watercolour and ink works are on display
Cornell is at 510 Clarkson Rd., where he will exhibit paintings of local scenes.
The Colborne Art Gallery (51 King St. E.) is part of the tour, where you can stop and see the current exhibition. The other 10 Colborne exhibitors are nearby.
Elizabeth Vercoe (629 Penryn Rd.) is a mixed-media artist,
Sharon Ramsay-Curtis (12006 County Rd.) displays watercolours, pottery and books.
Anita Gutteridge (11 Park St. E.) has hand-painted cushions as well as oil paintings.
Barbel Smith (16 Robertson St.), well known locally for her art programming for children, will have her own acrylic and oil paintings on display.
Patricia Calder (11 Cedar St.) has photography to enjoy.
The Lianne Snow Pop Art Gallery (80 King St. E.) offers paintings and jewelry.
At the same address, guest artist Angelika Holzmueller will exhibit her abstract paintings.
Helen Van Poorten (42 Elgin St. S.) has watercolour batik and spoon jewelry.
Natasa Djordjevic (17 Parliament St.) offers architectural services.
Old Mills Alpacas (13854 County Rd. 2) is an alpaca farm where fibre art will be on display.
