Tour of Humanity in Port Hope

Tour for Humanity is this weekend, Sunday July 23.
While the film Someone Lives Here and the photography exhibit will be at the St John’s Parish Hall, 33 Pine Street North, Port Hope, parking is available at the Port Hope United Church.
The Port Hope United Church is located at 34 South Street (driveway off Brown Street.
The 10:30 presentation in the Bus is for kids 8 to 12 and their adults, Simon’s Story – Ordinary Heroes.
At 1:00 Lessons and Legacies of the Holocaust is for teens and adults as is the 2:30 presentation, Genocide and the Power of Action.
This is a great opportunity for this community to learn more about the impact of racism and discrimination and how we can take a stand against these forces in our own community and in our everyday lives.
Everyone is welcome and the programs are free of charge.
