Hope Community Church Comes from Re-Branding of Fellowship Baptist Church

In Community, Local

A “re-branding” of a church took place at Memorial Park in Port Hope on June 22, 2023.

Members of the community were invited to come out for the re-branding of Hope Community Church which was formerly Fellowship Baptist Church.

Pastor Ben Mills said the re-branding was because they were renting from First Baptist Church, so there may have been some confusion in the community.

“Pastor Jeff who is the Pastor at First Baptist and I thought we could do a little re-branding just to make some clarity around it.”

Pastor Mills said they’ve always had a great relationship with First Baptist Church and hopes the name change will help any confusion in the community.

Upcoming events for the Hope Community Church are Movies In The Park which start on June 30 in Memorial Park and on Canada Day they will be handing out free Freezies in Memorial Park.
