Northumberland OPP – Impaired Driving Charge in the Municipality of Port Hope (Name Released)

Members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid impaired driving charges in relation to a single motor vehicle collision in Port Hope.

On Wednesday, October 28, 2022, at approximately 11:01 p.m., officers were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision, where a pickup truck had struck a tree on the front lawn of a residential address on County Road 65, in the Municipality of Port Hope.

As a result of the investigation, Annaleisha TOMS (age 31) of Brighton, was charged with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on December 7, 2022.
