MNRF Conservation Officers Investigating Who is Responsible for Shooting and Abandoning a Moose Carcass Near Roseneath

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) is asking the for the public’s help with identifying the individual(s) who abandoned a moose carcass near the town of Roseneath.

On October 9th, 2022, Conservation Officers responded to complaints of a moose carcass dumped in an open area along a hydro corridor, near Roseneath. Conservation Officers located parts of a spoiled moose carcass that had been abandoned in an open area on private property.

The ministry takes this situation very seriously and is looking to identify those responsible.
