Northumberland OPP – Large Police Presence in Hastings Fails to Locate Suspect

Members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were in the village of Hastings conducting a search for a male suspect that was believed to be in the village of Hastings.

The male in question is a suspect in an incident that occurred earlier today in Peterborough County.

The male is described as a black, wearing black clothing, including a black baseball cap. The male is wearing white shoes and has white stripes up each of his pant legs.

If this male is located, do not approach, and call 911 from a safe location.

The OPP reminds all member s of the public to be aware of their surroundings and personal safety at all times and to call the police to report any suspicious activity.

The male was not located, but the investigation is continuing, and anyone with information is asked to call the Northumberland OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
