Durham Regional Police – Armed Robbery at Jewelry Store at Oshawa Centre

Police are looking for several suspects after they smashed glass display cases and stole jewelry at a store in Oshawa Wednesday evening.

 

On Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at approximately 6:30 p.m. police responded to Bellagio Jewellers on King Street West inside the Oshawa Centre. Four suspects entered the store armed with hammers and one had a handgun. The suspects smashed glass cabinets and stole jewelry. They fled in a dark coloured sedan.

 

There were no physical injuries sustained by the employees.

 

The suspects are described as:

 

Suspect #1 – male, White, wearing a black toque, black jacket and grey joggers. He was carrying a backpack.

 

Suspect #2 – male, Black, wearing a black toque, hooded sweater, black pants, black shoes and and a mask.

 

Suspect #3 – male, Black, wearing sunglasses, a green hooded sweater, blue pants and black shoes. He was carrying a gym bag.

 

Suspect #4 – male, Black, wearing a blue jacket, black pants, black shoes, black pants and a mask.

 

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark coloured four-door sedan.

 

Anyone with any new information about this robbery including dash cam footage in the area at the time of the incident, is asked to contact the Major Crime Robbery Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5355.
