Cobourg Police – Male arrested for Trafficking Offence

On Sunday the 24th of June, 2018, at approximately 7:20pm, officers from the Cobourg Police Service attended a residence located in the east end of the Town of Cobourg, after receiving a report of an unconscious female inside the home.
Police attended the involved address, and as a result of a subsequent investigation, officers seized a large quantity of pills believed to be Xanax.
As a result of the investigation, a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant was executed at this address.
Police arrested Jesse HARRISON, 27 years of age, a resident of the Town of Cobourg.
HARRISON is charged with:
1. Possess a Substance in Schedule IV for Purpose of Trafficking contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
2. Unlawfully Possess a Substance in Schedule II contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
3. Unlawfully Possess a Substance in Schedule II contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
Jesse HARRISON was released on a Promise to Appear with an Undertaking with a court date in August of 2018.
