Cobourg Council – Don’t Miss the Big Shredding Day on Thursday

Among the activities the Cobourg Police Service is planning to help celebrate Police Week (May 15 to 21) is a special opportunity Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., announced at Cobourg council Monday by Councillor Aaron Burchat.

Burchat called it a free paper shredding.

“Bring down your documents and old files, and a truck will be there to shred the paper for you – which I think is a really excellent services for the community,” he said.

Burchat also had news from the Cobourg Fire Department in the form of year-to-date statistics. These consist of 420 incidents, 149 training activities and 127 fire-prevention and inspection activities.
