Second Successful Year for “Mother’s Day Brunch Boxes”

In Local

The Rotary Club of Northumberland Sunrise held a celebration in honour of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

Based on the tremendous success of last year’s initiative, the Club teamed up with Sugar Dust Bakery & Café (Port Hope) and Ketch’s Korner (Cobourg) – Charcuterie offering “Brunch Boxes.”

Each box was $45 and included a $15 donation to support Sunrise Rotary. Funds raised will allow the Club to fund its commitments to community organizations and international projects.

As a bonus, each participant will have the opportunity to win one of two floral arrangements. The Port Hope floral arrangement was won by Karen O’Hara.
