Cobourg Police and Community Help Out Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank

Cobourg Police held a Cram-A-Cruiser event at Metro grocery store at Northumberland Mall on Saturday, April 16, 2022.

Cobourg Police have said they will be doing the Cram-A-Cruiser events one each month to help out with Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank.

Dawn Dickenson who lives just north of Cobourg summed it up in one sentence why she donated.

“To help other people who can’t help themsevles.”

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cobourg Police were at the front entrance letting customers know what is needed for the Fare Share Food Bank.

Northumberland Fare Share Board member Denis Culver said the community support has been “fantastic.”

“The community support here is so great. It’s overwhelming.”
