Northumberland County Waste and Recycling Collection Possible Disruption

In Local

Northumberland County is advising that residents may experience a possible disruption in waste and recycling collection on Monday, January 17 due to forecasted weather conditions.

While all efforts will be made to minimize disruptions to the collection schedule, some residents may experience a delay in removal. In the event that collection does not occur by 6:00PM, please remove your waste and recyclables from the curbside and place them out again on your next regularly scheduled collection day. If garbage is not collected as scheduled, the maximum set-out limit for collection will be doubled the following week.

Residents with questions regarding the removal of waste and recyclables are invited to email wastedept@northumberlandcounty.ca or call the County’s Waste Hotline during regular business hours at 1-866-293-8379.
