Streets Packed for Evening Santa Claus Parade in Cobourg

A total of 58 entries paraded down King Street in Cobourg starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday December 4, 2021.

Floats, bands, sports teams and other groups joined in on the first evening parade most people can remember being held in Cobourg.

Members of the Cobourg Police, Cobourg Fire Department, Hamilton Township Fire Department, St. John Ambulance also participated.

Over half the entries were first time participants.

Once everyone saw the Concert Band of Cobourg, they knew Santa wasn’t far behind.

After the parade, people went down to wander through Victoria Park and see the thousands of Christmas lights throughout the park and the starting of Christmas Magic
