Cobourg Police – Woman Arrested on Warrant

A woman has been arrested on a warrant held by the Cobourg Police Service.

On November 12, 2021, at approximately 1:00 pm, officers on patrol observed a woman wanted on a warrant held by the Cobourg Police Service.

As a result of the subsequent police investigation, 28-year-old Amanda Salzmann of Cobourg is charged with the following offences.

1. Theft of Motor Vehicle contrary to section 333.1 of the Criminal Code

2. Possession of Property obtained by crime over $5,000 contrary to section 355(a) of the Criminal Code

3. Unlawfully in a dwelling house contrary to section 349(1) of the Criminal Code

4. Operation while prohibited contrary to section 320.18(1)(a) of the Criminal Code x2

5. Operation while impaired contrary to section 320.14(1)(a) of the Criminal Code x2

6. Fail to attend court as per Undertaking contrary to Section 145(4)(b) of the Criminal Code

The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
