Four occupants are being treated for varying degree of injuries including one person who was airlifted following a single vehicle collision on Oak Ridges Drive on Sunday, June 20, 2021.
At approximately 2:43 p.m. emergency services were called to Oak Ridges Drive (County Road 9) approximately one kilometre east of Burnham Street (County Road 18) at Reyns Road.
It appears the Jeep was travelling westbound on Oak Ridges Drive when it went into the south ditch before striking a culvert launching into the air. When the Jeep landed it rolled over before coming to a stop. One of the occupants may have been ejected.
The four occupants were treated by Northumberland County Paramedics and Hamilton Township Fire Department at the scene, then transported to Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg.
It’s believed one of the occupants was airlifted to a trauma centre in Toronto.
Northumberland OPP said Oak Ridges Drive will be closed for several hours in the area of the collision while members of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators examine the scene
