Northumberland OPP Hold Toy Drive in Campbellford This Coming Weekend

In Local, Upcoming Events

On Saturday November 28, 2020, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, members of the Northumberland OPP Auxiliary unit in conjunction with the Trent Hills Fire Department, will hosting a toy drive in the lively town of Campbellford.

There will be a marked police cruiser and a fire truck parked near the entrances of the Giant Tiger and Canadian Tire stores to “stuff” full of new unwrapped toys. Cash donations and gift cards are also welcome and will be used to help purchase toys, pajamas and gifts for older children that tend to be more difficult to buy for.

All of the donations collected will be distributed among local agencies that are working with families within Northumberland County who are currently experiencing difficult times, or going through a crisis situation during this holiday season.

The Northumberland OPP and the Trent Hills Fire Department would like to thank members of the community in advance for all of the support towards this event. We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday to help “stuff” the emergency vehicles!

By working together we can assist with providing families in need the ability to make this a joyous holiday season for all children throughout Northumberland County.
