Two-Vehicle Collision East of Grafton Shuts Down County Road 2

County Road 2 just east of Grafton was closed for approximately one hour after a collision on Friday, October 30, 2020.

At approximately 7 p.m. emergency services were called to the area after two vehicles collided.

A pizza delivery driver was heading west on County Road 2 when a deer darted in front of the vehicle.

The driver swerved, but struck the deer. An eastbound pickup truck was also involved in the collision.

The westbound vehicle rolled onto its roof coming to rest in the middle of the roadway.

Both drivers were checked by paramedics, but were not seriously injured.

The deer was killed in the collision.
