“Branch 133, Legion Village would like to inform the community that we have identified the need to provide treatment to a few of our residents’ apartments due to
the identification of bed bugs,” Executive Director Sherry Gibson said in a statement to Today’s Northumberland on Monday, October 26, 2020.

“Providing a safe and sanitary environment for our residents’ well-being and comfort are top priorities for Legion Village Board of Directors and staff. We are actively following treatment
protocol as prescribed including preparation of the apartment for treatment, treatment and follow up treatment until all bed bugs have been eradicated. We have asked all residents to co-operate
by reporting to our staff any sightings or tell-tale signs, which we have undertaken to educate our residents about.”
