Habitat Northumberland Moves Another Home – With A Little Help

In Community, Local

On Wednesday July 22, 2020 Habitat for Humanity Northumberland moved another house, the second one this month with the help of Pollard the Mover.

The house, currently located at 575 Courthouse Road, was be moved to 600 Daintry Crescent in the Town of Cobourg.

Northumberland County has generously donated the brick bungalow house to Habitat Northumberland and, through a partnership with the Town of Cobourg, Habitat Northumberland
secured the vacant lot at 600 Daintry Crescent in Cobourg.

Habitat Northumberland will place the house on a brand-new foundation, will renovate the house completely and then partner with a local family who will purchase the affordable home.
